About the Event

ABOUT THIS MASTERCLASS:

So many of us will be happy to play as fast as Lang Lang or Horowitz, but where do we start? How can we safely increase the speed whilst trying to make your fingers play as fast as possible? This workshop will offer you various tips, exercises and techniques which you can start implementing straight away in your practice.

ABOUT THE SERIES

This course of masterclasses aims to create practical tools for musicians which they will be able to apply to their playing straight away. This, in turn, will not only help to improve rapidly, but most importantly, increase their joy of playing the piano. Professional musicians can also benefit from it, as the masterclasses offer many tools for utilising one’s time and resources. Teachers are the most welcome to join so they can offer these practices in their teaching.

Piano-Yoga® masterclasses offer a non-traditional approach to piano technique, based on holistic disciplines, which GéNIA obtained during her training as a yoga teacher at the Life Center, London. Whilst becoming a qualified BWY (British Wheel of Yoga) teacher. She also has a strong interest in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), pilates, meditation and mindfulness techniques.

The workshops are open to adults and young people over 15. They will be held on the last Wednesday of every month excluding July, August and December. Tickets: £35. (Special offer: Buy 2 tickets, and get the third half price.) Please note, due to the nature of our website platform, you will need to checkout for each event individually and email us prior to booking the third so we can give you your personalised discount code.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring paper, pen and music you are working on to get the best out of each session.

We advise you to wear comfortable closing and be prepared to take your shoes of, but it is not compulsory.

IMPORTANT INFO:
