Assessment Lessons are designed specifically for pianists wanting a one-off Piano-Yoga® induction with the head piano-yogi herself, GéNIA. All sessions focus on the development of a personal practice plan to help you achieve your aims. Assessment Lessons offer something for everyone.

Now you can have the lesson from the comfort of your own home As long as your Web-cam can be adjusted to be placed next to your piano and the broadband connection is good, you can experience the same quality of piano lesson as if you were in the same room as GéNIA .

We offer various levels of piano lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced level pupils from all age groups. Our teachers are personally selected by GéNIA; some of them are her former students and current assistants who replace her when she is traveling.

We are now offering new ‘Piano + Yoga’ sessions at Steinway Hall in London which allow students to take their piano technique to a deeper level as part of a bespoke holistic assessment of their playing which looks beyond the co-ordination of fingers, hands and arms to the workings of the body as a whole.

For those with mathematical and analytical minds, the theory approach can also be doubly rewarding. Our six week course is structured around the academic term time, so you can arrange the lessons around your theory exam preparation.

Many adults dream about composing but rarely find the courage or time to commit to it. Children, on the other hand, find it much easier, often preferring it to learning  an actual piece! With our wonderful teachers, you can start composing in no time and embrace something that you may have wanted to do for a long time!

These lessons are designed for those who do not want to spend their time reading music but want to start playing straight away, using their memory. Truly understand the fundamentals of what you are playing, and start composing and improvising now!

This six week course is structured around the academic term time so you can arrange the lessons around your theory exam preparation.  It covers your pieces, scales, sight-reading, aural work and three mock exams. We will highlight your strongest and weakest areas in your first lesson and, together with the teacher, decide what will be best to focus on.

If you would like to learn to play Jazz, we have a wonderful course that can take you from complete beginner to advanced level. Whether you want to learn swing, bebop, free jazz, or boogie-woogie, these lessons are for you!

Even if you have never played a single note on the piano before, with our innovative course we can get you playing in just two weeks! Five 2-hour sessions held over two weeks or 5 weeks.

Looking to go back to the piano after a break? Think of this as personal training for the piano to really whip you back into musical shape!  The course comprises five 2-hour sessions held over two or 5 weeks.

If you always wanted to sit down at the piano and improvise around your mood, this course is for you. You may be pleased to learn that even with basic piano skills you can create elegant melodies and become much more intimate with the instrument. Don’t forget that, once mastered, we can help you to record your improvisations and capture that perfect moment!

Experience has taught us that our students are usually divided into 2 categories: those who can sight read straight away, and those who find it challenging. However, it does not have to be like this! The basic fundamentals of good sight reading are actually quite simple, and can be easily taught and perfected. Learn how to increase your short-term musical memory and fully understand techniques such as recognising repeated patterns and immersing yourself in the key.

This course is designed for those who are interested in accompanying instrumentalists, working with singers, or working as part of an ensemble. You can either work on the pieces that you have selected or you can have an Assessment Lesson, and then follow the programme especially designed for you. You are welcome to take this course either with your ensemble or as an individual.
